As part of Apple’s Q3 earnings press release today, CEO TIm Cook has announced that OS X Mountain Lion will be launching tomorrow, available only in the Mac App Store.
We’re thrilled with record sales of 17 million iPads in the June quarter,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO. “We’ve also just updated the entire MacBook line, will release Mountain Lion tomorrow and will be launching iOS 6 this Fall. We are also really looking forward to the amazing new products we’ve got in the pipeline.
OS X Mountain Lion is set to cost $19.99, down from the previous $29.99 for OS X Lion and Snow Leopard.

Really, no one gives a sh1t
Except you who took the time to comment about it.
Ok dumb question, I’ll admit — What are the chances that Lion will still be available tomorrow for those of us who can’t upgrade to Mountain Lion but didn’t pull the trigger on Lion after it first came out?
Troll….
Will it come out at midnight?
They wouldn’t get rid of Lion, it wouldn’t make sense to remove it because people need to have it to upgrade to mountain lion!
Yeah! Going to download it on my MacBook Air but keep Lion on my iMac and MacBook Pro just incase there are issues.
I cannot wait to use that new tab feature in Safari, it looks so awesome.
I love this time of year.
