If you go to Verizon Wireless‘s front page right now, they are hyping the imminent launch of something, which we can only assume is iPad 3 related.
But what is it? An iPad 3 with LTE is obviously a big contender, but I wonder if it could be something less splashy but just as important overall, like shared data plans.
What’s your guess? Let us know in the comments!

Sharing data between our iPhone and iPad would be great.
Unlimited 4G
I hope we could share data, that would be great… 4G would be nice too, but I’m happy with the 3G on my iPad 2
Korea already has a shared data plan
From Verizon? My wish list is longer than my character allowance…
LTE is nice, but 3G works just fine and with data caps it’s illogical to do any consistent HD streaming or Facetime. Even though I wouldn’t care too much if Apple adopted LTE this year or not, it’s interesting to fathom if the general market has my same view.
Shared family/device data plans would be a HUGE step forward, especially for Verizon given AT&T’s recent “screw the customers more than usual” actions.

I wonder what “Device 23” is and going off the directory March 12th, 2012 is Monday…

I still can’t, for the life of me, understand why someone would buy a tablet through a carrier. everyone (or most people) already have a data plan for smartphones. Now if they had shared plans with multiple devices, then that’s something to look at.
It’s called Tethering and you can do it right now, however I doubt Verizon will give that feature up for free. My guess is it’s going to be an LTE announcement.
They just want your email address.
It does NOT say “Something Big Is Coming”! — It saaaaays, “Something Is Coming.” Which is a “BIG difference”. Thank you. I’ll be at the club all week!
