Neat Cloud and Mobile

SAN FRANCISCO, MACWORLD / IWORLD 2012 — The Neat Company has long been known for its scanning devices, like NeatReceipts and NeatDesk. Those devices let you take your paper receipts, documents and business cards and scan them into your Mac so that you can organize them in a way that makes sense to you.

But here at Macworld/iWorld 2012, The Neat Company is focusing on their latest venture: conquering the digital realm. The thrust of what they are presenting here is all about the cloud. NeatCloud and NeatMobile, to be specific.

NeatCloud brings all of the pieces of the Neat Software Platform together. You’ll have a customized cloud-based information ecosystem designed just for you, allowing you to access your important information quicker and easier than ever before. NeatCloud offers backup and also automatically syncs with the Neat desktop and mobile software to provide you with seamless and frictionless access to their information.

NeatMobile puts the functionality of the Neat Software Platform in the palm of your hand. It will allow you to use your smartphone and/or tablet to capture and store information to your Neat digital filing systems. The application will be available for iPhone, iPad and Android operating systems — and it looks mighty seamless and slick. NeatMobile gives you the ability to access, share, and sync your information with a NeatCloud account.

The NeatCloud and NeatMobile products are expected to be available to the general public this Spring, at which time the subscription pricing model will be announced.
