Itching to get your hands on Apple’s latest iPhone? According to Apple representatives, you’ll be able to pre-order the iPhone 4S from 12:01 AM Pacific on Friday, October 14.
The new device, which ships with iOS 5, has Apple’s latest dual-core A5 chip, an 8-megapixel camera and Siri assistant, will be available to pre-order from Friday at 12:01 AM Pacific — that’s 07:01 AM GMT.
It will launch initially in the U.K., Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan and the U.S., where it will be available on AT&T, Verizon, and for the first time, Sprint. At the end of October, the device will continue its worldwide roll-out, hitting Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.

Like anyone reading this site wouldn’t have seen the official apple pre-order date. I knew as soon as I saw the error that every comment on the article would be about it and on it. You CoM trollers need to get a life.

Won’t be ordering, infact I was quite relieved as a kicking iPhone 5 would’ve made me feel as if had an out of date phone….this feels like small upgrade….as long as I have an iphone4 with os5 I’m happy.
Do I need to stay up to 3 a.m. eastern time to pre-order or if I wake up at 7 am will I still be able to get one shipped to me the day it hits stores. I know they apparently produced a lot so I want to make sure they don’t run out.

I want this phone….been faithful to Verizon and when they finally got the iPhone I wasn’t eligible for an upgrade. My question is when will it hit Verizon stores? And if I pre-order does that mean it will ship on the 14th and I won’t get it until early the following week?
