Apple seems focused on marking its mark in Europe recently, what with the launch of its online store in the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Poland; and the introduction of its iTunes movie store to new even more countries EU countries this week. However, its plans across the Atlantic don’t stop there: the company is also launching its Apple TV in another seven countries from Tuesday.
MacRumors has “received word” that Apple is informing its resellers in seven new European countries that the Apple TV will be making its debut next Tuesday, October 4 — the same day the company will unveil its next iPhone.
Those countries that make it on to Apple’s list include Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden. Apple’s memo reads:
All-new Apple TV Now Available for Order in Seven New Countries
We are delighted to announce the all-new Apple TV, with an enhanced user interface and a breakthrough price point, is now available to order in Belgium, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland.
The device will sell for €119 (approx. $160), including VAT, in Finland, which will line up with its existing pricing in other EU countries. In Norway, the device is expected to cost kr 849. Accompanying the device will AppleCare for an additional €29.
