Heyy Guys, I just got a $829.99 iPåd2 for only $103.37 and my mom got a $1499.99 HDTV for only $251.92, they are both coming with USPS tomorrow. I would be an idiot to ever pay full retail prices at places like Walmart or Bestbuy. I sold a 37″ HDTV to my boss for $600 that I only paid $78.24 for.

I prefer the ActiveX comparison. When Windows was being hatched, there was this new thing called the “ActiveX Desktop” where little tiles, widgets, or icons for websites would sit and they would be automatically updated in the background. Some were games, some were weather widgets etc. It was revolutionary! It was going to be the new paradigm! Regular windows would sit in the background and the user would do most of their interacting with the “Active Desktop” which would sit on top. Brilliant!

because history shows us that consumers are dying to have windows 7 in tablets! just wait and see. the people that buy windows tablets won’t hardly use windows 7. and the people who buy desktops won’t hardly use metro.
People claim that the latest version of Windows is really no improvement over the original. I beg to differ. The number 8 is certainly greater than 1.0 by exactly 7.0.

Does anybody out there get the sense of a business model change for Microsoft? Maybe a slight copy of Apple? I’m sensing a little “Back to The Mac” type strategy with Windows 8..

Buy a Ford! No get a Chevy! Best look at what the two platforms have to offer and go from there. Some of use got started on Microsoft because we needed speciality software . . . for engineering and science aps when Mac was being territorial. Mac has consistently had the better OS but the poorest business model.
Wow. “Gaudy” colors.The 1.0 used 16 colors, Win 8 uses 16 million, and there is no difference. Interesting. What sort of colors do Apple use? Only good, simple, non-gaudy, world-changer colors?
