Steve Wozniak has categorically denied being an adviser for a new augmented reality chap app launched by New England Patriots tight end Rob “Gronk” Gronkowski.
Called Mojiit, the forthcoming mobile AR chat app lets users create, “a stunning, 3D animation of yourself that you [can] send to your friends in augmented reality.” However, despite having made frequent mentions of having Woz on board, Apple’s co-founder denies that this is the case.
Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel has revealed that Snapchat’s app will be undergoing a major redesign, after the company fell short of expected growth projections for the quarter.
In a letter to investors, Spiegel blamed the difficulties on the service being too difficult for many users to understand. “One thing we have heard over the years is that Snapchat is difficult to understand or hard to use,” he wrote — adding that, “Our team has been working on responding to this feedback.”

Walmart Pay, the mobile payment system launched by the retailer in late 2015, may be on the verge of overtaking Apple Pay usage in the United States, a new report claims.
The service is available for both iOS and Android, across 4,774 Walmart stores, and is currently enrolling “tens of thousands of new users” per day. Two-thirds of them utilize the service for a second time within 21 days, Walmart claims — thereby giving it impressive repeat business.
