Today, Apple announced minor updates to its Time Capsule automatic backup (pictured) and AirPort Extreme wireless router. Both receive upgrades to the full 802.11n standard (from draft 802.11n) and a better antenna which is claimed to offer better performance and range. The AirPort Extreme is $179, while the Time Capsule 1TB and 2TB models remain priced at $299 and $499, respectively. All are available with free shipping from The Apple Store. Now in aluminum, this remote allows you to control your iPod or iPhone from across the room when used with the Universal Dock. It can also control many Macs with built-in IR sensors (most from 2005 or later have it). It’s expected to ship within two to four weeks.
