Apple today unleashed a number of goodies, including giving iMacs and Mac Pros more oomph with new processors and increased storage options. We have those deals today, along with many more items for the Mac lover. Along with the refreshed line of iMacs and Mac Pros, we’ll also look at a number of software deals for you iPod, iPhone and Mac.

(Each carries free shipping and is well under the best total price we could find for a new unit.) Sales tax is added where applicable. A 1-year warranty applies, the same as new systems. Items are removed from Apple’s web site once sold out. The models, all with free shipping:

All models now include at least an Intel Core i3 dual core processor (up from a Core 2 Duo), while the highest-end model sports an Intel Core i5 quad core processor. (Upgrades to the Intel Core i7 quad core processor are also available.) Other specs remain mostly the same, including the prices, although Apple once again has moved back to ATI Radeon video cards. 786940-largeToday, Apple updated its Mac Pro desktop lineup. Most notable is the build-to-orderfor two 2.93 GHz 6-core Intel Xeon X5670 processors (12-cores total). Other new features include options for a 512MB SSD, ATI Radeon HD 5870 1GB graphics, and more. Orders will begin in August.

The base Apple Mac Pro 2.8Ghz Quad-Core Tower costs $2,499 and features an Intel Xeon W3530 2.8GHz quad-core processor, 3GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB graphics, 1TB 7200 rpm hard drive, SuperDrive, AirPort Extreme (802.11a/n wireless), Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, Gigabit Ethernet, and Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard. The $3,499 Apple Mac Pro 2.4Ghz 8-Core Tower steps up to two Intel Xeon E5620 2.4GHz quad-core processors and 6GB RAM, with the other specs remaining the same. Both will be available from the Apple Store in August. Sales tax is added where applicable.

775162-largeRock Bottom Golf via eBay offers the Nike Sport Armband for iPod nano in Red, model no. AC1126, for $3.99 with free shipping. (That ties our April mention and is the lowest total price we could find by $11.) It appears that this armband will support all iPod nano models except for the 3G “fat” version. This sweat-resistant armband is made of the washable Nike Pro Compression fabric. Deal ends July 28 at 1:41 pm ET.
