The Computer History Museum currently has a great exhibit of Steve Jobs on their website. Among the neat tibits on their site is a 20minute video gifted from marketing guru Regis McKenna that shows Steve Jobs explaining the history of Apple back in his younger years. Reading the news on the iPad is one of the absolute best experiences you can have on Apple’s magical tablet device. We’ve seen some truly great accessories for the iPhone this year and the SkyLight should should certainly be counted among them. With the recent controversy surrounding Carrier IQ, U.S. Senator Al Franken has jumped back into the fight for privacy and sent an open letter yesterday to Carrier IQ asking the company to answer a number of questions concerning the company’s key-logger and data logging software. Carrier IQ’s software is currently running on millions of smartphones in the U.S. Apple released a statement on Thursday promising to eradicate all traces of Carrier IQ’s software with a new software update. Android manufacturer HTC released a statement today blaming carriers for the inclusion of CarrierIQ on their phones. Samsung also released a similar statement.

The latest iTV rumor is hitting the web today as Gene Munster told the crowd at IGNITION: Future of Media that the new Apple Television Set has been in the works for sometime now but should be released next year.

Munster is so certain that the new device is coming that he told everyone to wait before buying a new TV because Apple’s is going to be awesome.
