“The Force is strong in my family,” says Mark Hamill’s Luke Skywalker voices over this second teaser trailer for the hotly anticipated Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie that will hit the big screen this coming December. “My father has it, I have it, my sister has it. You have that power, too.”
That’s how the nerdgasmic second trailer begins, and then slams into some seriously amazing scenes from the upcoming film, including a massive, crashed Star Destroyer, close ups of new stars Oscar Isaac, John Boyega, and Daisy Ridley, and a brilliant moment of fan service with everyone’s favorite smuggler and his humongous furry sidekick.

The first trailer for Star Wars episode VII has us tingling with anticipation for the The Force Awakens’ release next year. We still don’t really know what’s going on in movie that take places 30 years after the last Death Star blew, but JJ Abrams has finally given us some names to put with the new faces.
Some of the character names for the new Star Wars heroes and villains were revealed today by Entertainment Weekly with the release of eight throwback Topps trading cards that were popular when the original Star Wars came out in 1977. The name of the new Sith lord is being kept a secret, but at least we don’t have to call that cute rolling robot a “ball droid” anymore.
In this quick video (below) announcing the new Star Wars: Force for Change program, JJ Abrams provides the first look at a Star Wars alien who walks from behind left and off stage right while the famous director talks about the initiative.
Abrams should need no introduction here, but in case you missed it: he’s directing the next Star Wars Movie. As a huge Star Wars fan himself, he’s honored to be a part of the new set of films, saying it feels a bit surreal to be there on the set in Abu Dabi.
You can enter to win a trip for two to London to actually be in the new movie, airfare and hotel included, with a donation to the program, which benefits UNICEF, one of the world’s most visible charities.
