The eight winners of this year’s Apple Design Awards showcase “outstanding app design, innovation, ingenuity, and technical achievement,” the company said Monday.

Ron Okamoto, Apple’s vice president of worldwide developer relations, said the four apps and four games honored “inspire not only their peers in the Apple developer community, but all of us at Apple, too.”

Sky: Children of the Light, the gorgeous new adventure game from the makers of Journey, has finally landed on iOS.

The game hopes to deliver “a world of wonder where compassion and generosity are interwoven and integral to the story.” It’s free to download, and it is already racking up rave reviews for players.

Thatgamecompany’s eagerly anticipated Sky: Children of the Light is coming exclusively to iOS next month.

The ethereal social exploration game, which takes place across seven different dream-like worlds, is its developers’ first title since 2012’s Journey. Check out the new E3 2019 trailer below.
