Computers have made it common to work with coworkers in offices all over the world. That means file sharing has become a key part of professional productivity. When you don’t share a desk, you can still share the contents of your computer’s desktop.
Dropbox is probably the first name that comes to mind, but another you should consider is Droplr. It turns file sharing, screen captures, desktop videos, and other super useful collaborative tools into a simple drag-and-drop affair. And right now, you can get 4 years of Droplr for up to 3 users, for just $39.99 at Cult of Mac Deals.
Keeping a digital collaboration humming can get expensive, especially as your team gets bigger and bigger. Making sure everybody has access to the same projects and files often takes a pricey subscription to a cloud platform like Dropbox. But right now a powerful solution is going for a huge discount of 98 percent — you can get a lifetime of Droplr for just $21.99 at Cult of Mac Deals.

Twitterrific, one of my favorite Twitter clients on iOS, got a new update this week that adds Readability integration for bookmarking tweets you want to catch up with later, as well as support for image hosting service Droplr. The update also comes with a ton of bug fixes and improvements.
One of the better Yuletide traditions is the venerable holiday Advent Calendar, in which each day of December leading up to Christmas is marked off on a special calendar by opening its corresponding door to find a small gift, toy or chocolate squirreled away inside.
This year, we here at Cult of Mac decided we wanted to give our readers their very own Apple-themed advent calendar, filled with the year’s best apps, gadgets, stories and other curios. So each day in December, we’re going to lovingly peel back the door on the Cult of Mac 2012 Advent Calendar to reveal another delicious morsel, something really special that came out this year that we think every one of you should enjoy.
So what’s behind the door on Friday the 7th? Tweetbot for Mac, the best (and most expensive) Twitter client on the Mac App Store!
Droplr, the popular web and app service for sharing files and links online, has launched its Droplr Pro plan. In case you didn’t know, Droplr is an incredibly slick way of sharing and storing media in the cloud. The iPhone and Mac apps can also be used to share files with shortened links, much like CloudApp.
Droplr Pro offers a completely ad-free experience, views/downloads statistics, increased storage, private drops, customized drop views, and custom domain configuration for short URLs. The service costs $3 per month or $30 per year.
