Apple’s upcoming iOS 11.3 update makes App Store reviews more useful by allowing them to be sorted. Users can cut through the clutter to find the most helpful reviews, the most critical reviews, and more.
Tim Cook is a well-liked CEO, at least according to employee ratings on Glassdoor, a website that allows employees of any company to post reviews, ratings, and other such metadata about the companies they work for.
The current rating of Apple CEO Tim Cook on the service is a high 94 percent, gathered from all the employees who have rated him on the service, a total of 724 as of this writing. While Glassdoor is an opt-in survey system, it is anonymous. If they hated the guy, they’d probably say so. Anonymity plus the internet is anything but overly polite.
You would think that after year’s of continually being ranked the worst US carrier, AT&T would have done something to pull itself from the bottom. Unfortunately, they haven’t. AT&T shouldn’t feel too bad as not a single major US carrier scored above an overall satisfaction score of 72.
The satisfaction rates of iPhone users are notorious, an industry best. That’s not surprising, considering Apple makes some of the best devices on Earth and that, for the most part, the competition can’t really measure up.
But while people are satisfied with their iPhones, iOS 6 and, in particular, its buggy, half-formed implementation of Maps has caused a dip in customer satisfaction. It’s not a massive drop, but it’s enough to show that the Maps debacle is tarnishing what is otherwise Apple’s best operating system.
Zynga’s latest iOS game Dream Heights received a lot of stick when it was first announced, and there’s no denying that it was all deserved. After all, it is a blatant clone of Tiny Tower, the App Store’s best game of 2011, from a small team of independent developers called NimbleBit.
The title is now available to download from the U.S. App Store, and according to the reviews it’s already received, Zynga employees love it.
