Here’s one for the “better late than never” category: Almost three years after releasing the Lightning connector for the iPhone 5, Apple has unveiled its brand new official Lightning connector dock for use with the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5, and fifth-generation iPod touch.

Sure, their method will void your warranty, but it’s pretty amazing that the watch still works after the beating it receives.

The iPhone 6 has helped Apple shatter sales records worldwide, and nowhere is it bigger than in China. According to a new report from Kantar, Apple’s smartphone market share in China is at an all-time high of 27.6 percent.
China Mobile accounted for 59 percent of iOS sales in the country from December to February, adding to Apple’s momentum in key international markets. The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus were two of the three top-selling smartphones in urban China, with Xiaomi’s RedMI Note coming in second.
While Apple market share is up in developing nations, iOS market share shrank year-over-year in the U.S. and Japan. Five other countries also saw losses over the last three months. Look at how much Apple’s market share declined in January and February in seven of the world’s largest markets:

Apple decided to kill the iPhone C lineup when it debuted the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, but the colorful plastic cases could be making a comeback in 2015, based on an alleged leak out of Apple’s supply chain.
A new 4-inch iPhone 6c might debut alongside the iPhone 6s this fall, according to leaked images that show an iPhone rear shell similar in size to the iPhone 5c. But this design may come with a few tweaks.

Apple’s design team went to extreme lengths when redesigning the new MacBook to be more portable than ever. The most drastic move was to toss out the fan and extra ports for a super-tiny logic board.
The new MacBook logic board is two-thirds smaller than any board Apple’s designed before. It’s the highest-density Mac logic board yet, but really, it’s more like a super-iPhone or iPad logic board. Put side by side with the iPhone 6 logic board, the new MacBook logic board is barely twice its size.

A Chinese workers’ rights group released a new report today that sheds light on the deplorable working conditions in factories that assemble the iPhone 6. According to China Labor Watch, on February 3, 2015, Pegatron assembly line worker Tian Fulei died while assembling the iPhone 6.
The hospital labeled the cause of death as “sudden death,” but fellow workers say Tian worked long overtime shifts day after day, which gave his family reason to believe that Tian died from overwork.
To smooth things over, Pegatron reportedly offered the family a measly $2,400 as compensation for their son’s death. Tian’s family of farmers couldn’t afford to pay for an expensive independent autopsy to prove the death was work-related. Eventually they took Pegatron’s next offer of $1,277 for his untimely death.
The Apple Watch’s Force Touch technology and rose gold finish might not stay exclusive to the smartwatch for long.
A new report from The Wall Street Journal says that when the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus come around, they’ll have Force Touch screens, and come in pink gold.
