Epic Games won’t let any season or event pass by without celebrating it inside Fortnite Battle Royale, so it’s no surprise the company has something big up its sleeve for Halloween. Get ready for the mysterious “Fortnitemares.”

Teased on Twitter over the weekend, Fortnitemares is … some kind of … something. All we really know so far is that it will be popping up in Battle Royale soon.

The merge will combine all item purchases, V-Bucks, game stats, and Save the World campaign access. It’s perfect for those who were forced to set up a second Epic account to play Fortnite on the Nintendo Switch, or because they were locked out of their original.

Epic denies that Fortnite is coming to Apple TV [Update]

Updated 3:20 p.m. August 21: Epic Games says it does not plan to bring Fortnite to Apple TV after all. “References to tvOS in the Fortnite files are the result of general Unreal Engine support for the Apple TV platform,” the company said in a statement sent to CNet.

Google could miss out on a $50 million payday this year alone as a result of Epic Games’ decision not to distribute Fortnite for Android through the Play Store.

The upcoming Galaxy Note 9 or a second Samsung device will be required to play the game initially. Even if you happen to obtain the Fortnite package for Android, it won’t run on your handset until Samsung’s exclusive deal comes to an end.
