The iPhone 7 is coming!

Apple just sent out press invitation to a special event to be held September 7 at 10 a.m. Pacific. The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are expected to be unveiled at the event, which will be hosted at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco.

The iPhone 7 is widely believed to include a number of minor updates, although no major design changes are expected to be made to the body of the device.

A dual-lens camera on the iPhone 7 Plus could be the most groundbreaking new feature added this year. Other additions are likely to include a new pressure-sensitive Touch ID button, a faster A10 processor, an improved camera on the iPhone 7 Plus, and a new casing with fewer antenna lines. The iPhone 7 will also boast faster LTE, a bigger battery and more.

With the iPhone 7 event taking place September 7, preorders for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are expected to open September 9. Units may not ship out until September 23.

Apple will livestream the iPhone 7 event. As long as you’ve got the appropriate gear, you can watch from the comfort of your own web browser, Apple TV, etc.

What about Apple Watch 2 and MacBook Pro?

The Apple Watch 2 with GPS and a bigger battery may also make an appearance during the September 7 keynote.

Apple laptop fans have been anxiously awaiting the long-rumored MacBook Pro with an OLED touchpad, but we might have to wait until October before Apple finally announces those updates.
