Apple’s online store has gone offline ahead of the rumored M2 iPad Pro announcement later today. Tim Cook also shared a teaser about the new iPads on Twitter.
Rumors have indicated that Apple will announce new iPads in late October. It is unclear if the company will unveil the new M2 MacBook Pros today as well.
Update: The wait is over. Apple unveiled the 2022 iPad Pro and iPad 10 on Tuesday. There’s also a faster Apple TV 4K on the way.
October is likely to be a good month for iPad fans with new models expected any day now. That includes a faster version of the iPad Pro and a redesigned budget iPad, according to leaks.
But don’t expect them to appear at a glitzy event. Apple is apparently going to launch these on the downlow.

Apple will add two new ports to the 2022 iPad Pro, according to an unconfirmed report. However, it’s not known what these will be for as they do not conform to any connectors used by current Apple devices.

Apple could launch a new MacBook Air powered by a faster M3 processor as soon as next year.
The company also has a bunch of other Macs due for launch later in 2022 or early 2023. They will run on Apple’s new M2 chip, which powers the new 13-inch MacBook Pro as well as the upcoming M2 MacBook Air set for July launch, or the M2’s more powerful Pro/Ultra/Extreme variations.

Stage Manager aims to improve the multitasking experience on iPads by adding floating, resizable app windows and other features that make the tablets more like Macs. However, Apple’s decision to keep the feature exclusive to iPads with M1 chips has caused quite a bit of controversy.
Surprising details leaked out about the rumored 14.1-inch iPad. Aside from its large size, the display might not include top-tier features offered by other iPad Pro models, like a very fast refresh rate.
These might be an attempt by Apple to control the price of the extra-large tablet.
