Best Black Friday Apple deals
The common knock on Apple gear — that it costs too much — isn’t really true, because the high quality of the hardware and software really does stand out from the crowd. And that complaint rings even less true around Black Friday, when retailers typically offer their biggest discounts of the year on Apple products. Even Apple itself is giving away gift cards with certain Black Friday purchases.
We’ll keep our eyes peeled for the latest Apple Black Friday deals and update this post as warranted.
Best Black Friday AirPods deals
Amazon is offering a flat 20% off on the AirPods Pro 2, dropping its price to $199.99 from $249. That’s $49.01 off its MSRP and the lowest price the earbuds have fallen to since launch. This is by far one of the best Black Friday Apple deals that you should not miss.
AirPods (2nd gen)
The second-generation AirPods might be old, but if you are looking for a pair of earbuds for making phone calls and listening to podcasts, they will serve you just fine. Apple charges $159 for the AirPods 2 with Lightning charging case. As a part of its Black Friday deal, Amazon has discounted the earbuds to $79, a whopping 50% off MSRP. You can even get the AirPods and AppleCare+ bundle for $108 after a massive $80 discount.
The premium AirPods Max headphones have been discounted by $100 for Black Friday. At $549, Apple’s first headphones are extremely expensive, though if you want the best sound quality and ANC, you can’t go wrong with them. If you have been eyeing the AirPods Max for a long time, get them for $449.99 this Black Friday from Amazon.
Best pre-Black Friday iPad deals
2022 iPad Pro
You can save $100 on the new M2-powered 12.9-inch iPad Pro, albeit on selected models. The 256GB Wi-Fi configuration is available for $1,099, down from its $1,199 MSRP.
As for the 11-inch iPad Pro, it gets a more modest $60 discount for Black Friday
2022 iPad Air
The M1 iPad Air already provides solid value for money. It is arguably the iPad to buy for most consumers in Apple’s current iPad lineup. For Black Friday, Amazon discounted the $599 iPad Air with 64GB storage to $559. And if you want more storage, the 256GB iPad Air 5 sees a more prominent $70 off, bringing its price down to $679 from $749.
iPad mini 6
The 2021 8.3-inch iPad mini has dropped to a more affordable $399.99 on Amazon. Take advantage of this deal, and you’ll save $99.01 on your iPad mini 6 purchase. A similar discount is also available on the 256GB storage configuration and the Wi-Fi + Cellular models.
2021 iPad 9
Despite launching the iPad 10 in October, Apple continues selling the 2021 iPad 9. It is also the cheapest iPad in Apple’s lineup, with a starting price tag of $329.
For Black Friday, you can get the $329 iPad 9 for $269.99, saving $59.01.
Best Black Friday MacBook deals
Apple’s entire MacBook lineup is heavily discounted ahead of Black Friday, with some of the machines dropping to their lowest-ever prices.
M1 MacBook Air
Apple’s M1 MacBook Air launched in October 2020, but it is still going strong. For anyone on a tight budget, the Air makes perfect sense. And ahead of Black Friday, you can get it for $799.99, saving a whopping $199.01.
M2 MacBook Air
The M2 MacBook Air features a more modern design and faster internals packed inside a slim, light chassis. Besides the faster M2 chip, the 2022 MacBook Air packs a MagSafe port, 1080p FaceTime HD camera, and a slightly bigger 13.6-inch display.
For Black Friday, you can save $150 on the 256GB and 512GB models of the M2 MacBook Air. Thanks to the discount, you can get the entry-level $1,199 model for just $1,049.
2021 MacBook Pro
The 2021 MacBook Pro lineup is available with massive discounts ahead of Black Friday. You can score $400 off on the 14-inch MacBook Pro, while the 16-inch MacBook Pro is available with a bigger $499.01 discount. You can even get $300 off on the M1 Max MacBook Pro with 32-core GPU.
Best Black Friday Apple Watch deals
Apple Watch Ultra
The bigger, beefier Apple Watch Ultra is getting a massive $60 discount ahead of Black Friday on Amazon. This brings its price down to $739 from $799, making it a more reasonable purchase (and burning a smaller hole in your wallet). With the money saved, you can pick up a spare Apple Watch Ultra band or get AppleCare+ coverage for added peace of mind.
Apple Watch Series 8
You can save $50 on the Apple Watch Series 8 this Black Friday. As of now, only the 41mm casing size is in stock in selected colors. However, keep checking the Amazon listing, as other configurations could come back in stock.
Black Friday deals on other Apple products
Amazon surprised us with a steep discount on a four-pack of AirTag trackers. Right now, you can get four of the versatile trackers for just $79.99. And honestly, you can never have enough of them.
Apple Pencil 2
The 2nd gen. Apple Pencil sees a hefty $40 discount for Black Friday. So, instead of $129, you can get it for just $89. Given how useful the Apple Pencil is, this is a Black Friday deal you should definitely take advantage of.
Apple Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro
The Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro with trackpad gets a $50 discount this Black Friday. This deal is available on both the 11-inch and 12.9-inch models of the accessory, bringing its price down to $249 and $299, respectively.
If you like any of the Black Friday deals mentioned above, make sure to pull the trigger on them as soon as possible. Given how good some of the discounts are, stocks are unlikely to last long, and the deals could expire due to heavy rush. And if you place your order early, you might just get your product ahead of Thanksgiving.
