Transitioning to a future when iPhones no longer come with 3.5mm headphone port is going to be a lot easier thanks to one Apple supplier that is ready to make Lightning headphones a thing.

Cirrus Logic, which makes analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits, revealed that it has created a new headset development kit that will allow accessory makers to quickly develop Lightning-headphones that are made for iPhone and iPad.

The price of Apple shares have been in a slump all of 2016, but 2017 is shaping up to be an explosive year for AAPL.

Thanks to pent up demand from iPhone users for a big upgrade that probably won’t come this year, Apple is poised to have its biggest year ever when it launches the iPhone 7s, according to Cowen & Co’s financial analyst Timothy Arcuri who claims it pays to get in right now and wait out the iPhone 7 slump.

A French TV station turned to iPhones to keep a popular talk show alive during a recent power outage. Much of On n’est pas couché was shot using Apple’s smartphones and limited lighting, but the footage still made it into the final broadcast.

A new rumor claims that Apple won’t be launching the iPhone 7 in a new “deep blue” color, as previously suggested, but rather a far darker gray which will replace the existing space gray color the company offers.

The color is reportedly a shade of “formal black,” which will be substantially different to the rose gold, gold and silver iPhone options currently available.

Rumors that the iPhone 7 will be a snooze-worthy update have been seemingly confirmed today by The Wall Street Journal, which claims Apple plans to break from its traditional pattern of redesigning its flagship device every year.

This year’s iPhone will come with plenty of minor upgrades, but according to the new report, some iPhone 7 features that Apple hoped to integrate just weren’t ready for a 2016 rollout.

Buying the iPhone 7 Plus might not be as big an upgrade as some Apple fans were hoping for this fall.

Apple has allegedly decided to scrap plans to include a dual-lens camera sensor on the back of the iPhone 7 Plus, according to the latest rumor from China that claims the tech isn’t quite ready.

Apple might add a new color to the iPhone lineup and this year it won’t be a new shade of gold.

Recent rumors have claimed that the iPhone 7 will come in a “Deep Blue” color option when it launches this fall, which sounds kind of strange, until you look at the beautiful mockups created by Martin Hajek.

Even though the iPhone 7 isn’t expected to feature any major design changes, we will gladly fork over the cash for an upgrade if it looks this good:

We’ve still got a little over three months before Apple unveils its next-gen iPhone handsets, but — as always — designers are more than willing to help us imagine how different our lives will be come September.

From flip-phone versions of the iPhone to a retro “dumb” version without any of the added goodies, designer Martin Hajek has long been creating iPhone renderings. For these, however, he sticks to what we’ve heard from the rumor mill to bring us concepts for both the iPhone 7 and the possible iPhone 7 Pro.
