The days of sharing one image at a time on Instagram are finally coming to an end.

Instagram revealed that starting today everyone can now post up to 10 photos and videos in a single post, giving users an all-new way to tell stories and share experiences.

The ability to combine multiple photos into one post was previously limited to advertisers. Beta testing for the new feature rolled out to Android users earlier this month. Now it’s ready for anyone to use on iOS and Android and will rollout to all users over the next few weeks.

How to post multiple pics

Users should start seeing the new feature later today. To make a post with multiple photos and videos, tap the icon in the bottom right that looks a square on top of another square.

You can control how the post looks by tap and holding on pictures to change the order. Filters can be applied to individual photos or to an entire batch of pictures at once.

The only draw back of the new feature is that all your photos will be cropped to a square. Only one caption is allowed for all pictures. To signify that there are multiple pics in a post, Instagram shows a couple of dots underneath the gallery.
