If you’re waiting for a new (PRODUCT)RED iPhone, you may be in luck a lot sooner than you think! According to a new report, Apple will be announcing its latest limited edition (PRODUCT)RED iPhone as early as today at 8.30am Eastern.

Unfortunately, it supposedly won’t be Apple’s top-of-the-line iPhone X, but instead the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.

Apple didn’t announce a mid-year iPhone refresh at yesterday’s education-focused media event, but that isn’t stopping fans from dreaming.

Leading the pack is designer Martin Hajek, who has taken a page out of Apple’s 2017 playbook (when it introduced the PRODUCT(RED) iPhone 7) by giving us a mockup of what a red iPhone X may look us. The answer? Pretty darn sweet.

Apple has flaunted the iPhone 7’s new waterproof powers in plenty of ads, but did you know it’s also (kinda) fireproof?

To see just how much damage the new (RED) iPhone 7 can take, one insidious YouTuber placed the new device in a bucket filled with 25 pounds of gunpowder. The giant gunpowder explosion is truly impressive, but your mind will be blown by the condition of the iPhone once the smoke clears.

Apple’s stunning new (PRODUCT)RED iPhone 7 went on sale this morning, but should you buy one?

Sure, it looks spectacular, and a portion of your purchase goes to a good cause. It’s also packing Apple’s latest iPhone hardware — but that hardware is six months old now, and when September rolls around, it’s going to be old news.

Join us in this week’s Friday Night Fight as we discuss whether the (PRODUCT)RED iPhone — and iPhone 7 in general — is still worth your hard-earned cash.
