Green Farm is Gameloft’s answer to popular farming sims such as Farmville. It’s a free, online ‘social game’ that can be played on your iPhone, iPad, or through Facebook. It boasts a fresh design and huge variety that attempts to “take farming apps to the next level.”
Hector is the hugely entertaining detective from Telltale Games who’s been solving crimes on our iPhones for some time — and now he’s brought his foul mouth and vulgar wit to the iPad. We Negotiate with Terrorists is the first episode of this law-enforcement comedy in HD.

Green Farm — (Free) Universal — Games
The Green Farm app allows you to access your existing Facebook farm or create a brand new one from your iOS device. Start by planting seeds and growing crops which you’ll later harvest and sell to earn coins. As you collect coins you’ll have the opportunity to purchase a huge variety of seeds, animals and buildings with which to customize your farm and make it unique. Go online to visit your friends or invite them over to your farm to help out, and play online mini-games while you wait for your crops to grow. Take on a variety of missions and call in help from tractors, planes and even robots. Enter the daily lottery and see what you can win, and use the push notifications to ensure you never forget to feed your animals or harvest your crops.
Hector – Episode 1: We Negotiate with Terrorists — ($6.99) iPad – Games
Help Detective Inspector Hector fight crime in the mutinous Clappers Wreake – an English town that takes the ‘Great’ out of Britain – in We Negotiate with Terrorists. This bent copper is violent, drunk, corrupt and smothered in curry; but above all, he’s exceptionally comedic. When a hostage crisis erupts in the center of Clappers Wreake, Hector has to make a choice: carry out a terrorist’s demands and save the innocent, or let the hostages die. At the moment Hector’s still on the fence, and it’s up to you to help him. This hidden object adventure is dark, dirty, and damn well brilliant.
MetalStorm: Online – (Free) Universal – Games
MetalStorm: Online claims to be “the best looking, most action packed multiplayer jet fighting game for iOS.” It boasts real-time multiplayer against other players online over 3G and Wi-Fi; Game Center leaderboards and achievements; next-generation 3D graphics; and dozens of unique aircrafts to choose from – customizable with missiles and machine guns. Obliterate waves of enemies alone in single player, or call on a friend in co-op mode and use the voice chat system to talk to each other in-game. Use multitouch gestures to perform advances manoeuvres and experience a wonderful 360º 3D space.
Samurai Girl – ($0.99) iPhone – Games
