Google Photos for iOS just got even greater.

Google just gave us yet another reason to use its excellent Google Photos app for iOS. Its latest update, version 2.0, gives iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus users the ability to quickly turn their favorite Live Photos into shareable GIFs and video clips.

If you aren’t already using the Google Photos app on your iPhone or iPad, you’re missing out. Not only does it have some terrific features — like visual search, shared albums, and the excellent Assistant — but it also offers unlimited photo storage for free.

Now there’s another great reason to download it. In Google Photos 2.0, you can turn your Live Photos into GIFs or video clips that are more easily shareable (you won’t need an Apple device to view them), and upload video clips directly to YouTube.

The update also lets you choose new thumbnails for faces in the People section, allows you to sort photos in albums chronologically or by recently added, and brings performance improvements that should make the app snappier.

You can download Google Photos 2.0 from the App Store now.
