App developers may be rich, charismatic, good-looking and able to code (OK, so a significant portion only fall into one of these categories), but they’re also human — and that means criticism hurts.

With that in mind, a new video mines devs’ negative user reviews for comic gold by getting indie developers to read their own negative feedback in the App Store.

Apple’s new Touch Bar looks like the coolest innovation since trackpads, but there’s just one problem: You must buy a brand new MacBook Pro to get it.

It seems inevitable that Apple will eventually bring the Touch Bar to all Macs, so a concept artist created a mockup of what that may look like. It looks like a Touch Bar on a new Magic Keyboard would be even more incredible than on the MacBook Pro.

Apple decided to limit RAM options on its beautiful new machine to just 8GB or 16GB. That’s the same amount as the last MacBook Pro, which is more than enough for most consumers, but Apple claims adding more would be also be bad for pros.

The new betas come less than a week after Apple seeded the last version that brought a number of bug fixes and new features that make the company’s “biggest release ever” even better.

Developers received a batch of new beta software updates today bringing a bunch of bug fixes to the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Apple TV.

iOS 10.1 beta 2 is the most notable of the new beta builds. The last version added the new Portrait Mode to the iPhone 7 Plus, which has earned rave reviews so far, though some early images have shown it still needs some tweaking.

The third beta builds of macOS Sierra 10.12.1 was seeded to developers today, less than a week after Apple released the second build that contained a number of bug fixes.

Developers can pick up the new beta directly form the Apple Developer Center, or install it via the Mac App Store’s software update option if the previous beta build is already installed on your Mac.

Apple is set to start showing adverts in iOS App Store search results starting Wednesday, October 5.

The company previously carried out an apparently-succesful beta test involving ads, which appear at the top of search results when users type a keyword into the search box. According to Apple, more than 65 percent of app downloads come through search results.

Apple has made the third public beta of iOS 10 available to members of its testing program this morning, just one day after the company seeded iOS 10 beta 4 to developers.

While the new beta build doesn’t contain any huge changes like in the previous releases, Apple did make a couple of tweaks, including the addition of over 100 new emoji characters that promote gender diversity, new keyboard sounds, a Control Center splash page and much more.

The first-ever iOS development center in Europe created by Apple is set to open later this year, providing aspiring developers with the practical skills and training necessary to make killer apps.

Apple revealed today that the center will officially be named iOS Developer Academy to be located at Università di Napoli Federico II.

Apple is serving up a fresh batch of beta updates for developers today with the release of new versions of tvOS 10, watchOS 3 and macOS Sierra.

The second beta builds of the new operating systems, which were unveiled by Apple at WWDC last month, are now available in Apple’s Developer Center (along with a new iOS 10 beta that brings minor changes to the big software update).
