Epic Games is rolling out another Fortnite Battle Royale update with big weapon changes.

It is the second patch to arrive this week after bouncer traps and other weapon tweaks were introduced on Wednesday. This release focuses on reducing shotgun damage for both the pump and tactical variants, and reversing the decrease recently made to trap damage.

Epic has also confirmed it will be sending the jetpack to the vault this month.

Fortnite Battle Royale’s weekly content update is rolling out across all platforms, including iOS. The latest release adds a new bouncer trap and makes big adjustments to address “a few top concerns.”

No, there’s still no controller support on mobile — but there is strong evidence to suggest Fortnite is about to drop onto the Nintendo Switch.

Week three challenges for season four have also been leaked.

Fortnite is killing it on iOS, but it could be so much better

Team Rumble just got a lot better.

I’ve been encouraging every gamer I know to play Fortnite on iOS since it made the leap to the App Store back in March. I’ve gushed about how spectacular the game is on mobile, and how it keeps up with its console counterparts.

I’m not at all surprised that the game is making an absolute killing on iPhone and iPad, raking in more than $25 million in revenue during its first month of availability. I’ve played it almost every day, and spent more than I’d like to admit on items I don’t really need.

But two months on, now that the novelty has worn off, I have some complaints to make. Fortnite could be so much better on iOS if Epic was to give it the attention it really deserves.

No, it’s not just you — no one can play Fortnite right now.

The hottest game on the planet is down — and has been for over 12 hours — as a result of a database failure. Epic Games is in the process of carrying out major upgrades to its database systems, but there’s no word on when Fortnite will be playable again.

Fortnite Battle Royale’s weekly content update has rolled out on iOS, adding the new Port-a-Fort grenade, squad commands, and more.

Epic has also addressed a whole bunch of pesky bugs — including one that caused weapons to hover in the air when switching quickly between items. There are big changes for consoler and PC players, too.

This week’s Fortnite update brings vending machines to battle royale, allowing you to trade unwanted building materials for weapons.

The vending machines are scattered around the map, and each offers three items of randomly-selected rarities. The items are cycled every so often and there is no limit to how many you can purchase in each match.

Epic Games has also added a limited-time High Explosives game mode.

Fortnite, the hottest game of 2018, is finally available on iOS for everyone to download, no invite code needed.

The game has been in beta on iOS the last few weeks and required a special invite code to get in on the battle royal action. Now anyone with an iPhone SE or later can get in on the action anywhere you have an internet connection.
