Fans of Crash Bandicoot can now get their fix on the go with Crash Bandicoot: On the Run, a brand-new game from Activision and King.
The free-to-play runner features stacks of original Crash content — including new characters and an awesome soundtrack — as well as material you’ll recognize from previous entries in the series.
There are 50 bosses to take on across 12 different lands, and a bunch of skins to collect. Get the game on iPhone and iPad today.
Since making his debut on PlayStation in 1996, Crash has become one of the most beloved mascots in gaming. His action-packed 3D platformers have been a huge success across multiple console generations.
It’s no surprise, then, that there’s been a big Crash revival in recent years with the release of the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy in 2017 and the new Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time dropping late last year.
But why should console gamers have all the fun? On the Run is built from the ground up for mobile devices, and bags of effort have gone into making sure it’s just as spectacular as other entires in the series.
Crash Bandicoot: On the Run is packed with content
On the Run is one of the most ambitious titles ever built by King, makers of the Candy Crush and Bubble Witch games. It features all your favorite Crash characters, as well as some brand-new ones.
Crash, Coco, Dr. Neo Cortex, and many more make an appearance as you explore the game’s 12 brand-new lands. And you’ll meet Mr. Crumb and others, who haven’t appeared in a mainline Crash entry before.

Mr. Crumb, an evil ghost, is one of our favorites. His only other appearance in a previous game was with the handheld Crash Bandicoot game developed by Tiger Electronics way back in 1999.
And it’s not just new characters On the Run brings to the table. It’s also packed with original music and effects — more than any other game developed by King — and skins that you can unlock as you progress.
Team up and compete
One of the things that makes On the Run more exciting than other runners is its online leaderboards. Players can team up and compete to collect the most trophies, with winners awarded with exclusive content.
There’s also the Bandicoot Pass, much like the Battle Passes that have become popular in other games, that offers up more skins and virtual items that you can unlock as you make your way through the game.
In Coco’s Base, you can craft wacky weapons using ingredients you collect during your runs, then use them to take on the game’s many mischievous bosses.
