Apple has debuted two new “How to” videos online related to the Memories feature on iOS, which lets your Photos app scan through your image library for meaningful people, places and other snaps, and then presenting them in curated collections.

The new ads precede the launch of iOS 11, which builds on the Memories feature in nifty new ways. Earlier this week, Apple debuted a couple of other Memories themed ads, with one being a “How to” video and the other being more of a narrative ad.

The web-only “How To” videos are part of a recent change in strategy on Apple’s part, as it focuses more on digital and social media ads, which won’t be broadcast on TV, but will rather run on platforms like Facebook and Instagram, where they can be easily shared.

To help with this, Apple has been hiring key employees with a background working at YouTube, who helped the service become the world’s biggest video streaming platform.
