From its flexible but hard-as-nails Sapphire glass display, to its larger form factor, we’ve seen a lot of apparent leaks regarding the upcoming iPhone 6 — cluing us in on what we can expect from Apple’s next-generation smartphone. Now a new set of component pictures, including what seems to be a legitimate glimpse of the device’s previously-unseen SIM tray, appear to confirm the colors we should expect to be able to pick up our iPhone 6 devices in.
The images, first shown by the website Letem svetem Applem suggest that, like the current iPhone 5s, the new iPhone 6 will be available in Silver, Gold and Space Gray color configurations.

Apple introduced the gold color option last year with the iPhone 5s and, while it’s sometimes been the basis for mockery, it turned out to be a very popular (and surprisingly tasteful) color option that was quickly copied by Apple’s rivals — which all explains why it is no surprise the company would choose to repeat the experiment again this year.
Alongside images of the SIM tray, the new photos also show the separate power and volume flex components. In the iPhone 5s, the power and volume flex are conjoined. However, given that the power button is expected to move from the top of the smartphone to its side for the iPhone 6 (based on the larger size of the handset), it makes perfect sense that Apple would choose to separate them this time around.
Although these pictures are by no means conclusive, they do chime with previous reports. And given that Apple looks set to change so much from its current generation iPhone 5s, no one is likely to be too disappointed if Cupertino opt to stick with the same tried-and-true color configurations.
