Deleting emails has long been a fairly simple task in iOS. All you’ve ever needed to do to delete one is swipe to the left to pull up the delete button, or tap on Edit to delete multiple messages. Deleting email is such fun, of course, but there are other things you might want to do with your emails.
In iOS 7, luckily, there’s more…quite literally.
While in the Mail app, bring up your list of messages in the Inbox, for example. Now, swipe to the left on an individual email to get the red delete button. Notice something new? There’s a More button there as well.
Tap the gray More button to get a popup list of things you can now do with that email, including Reply, Forward, Flag, Mark as Unread, Move to Junk, or Move Message to another folder. You can also just tap Cancel if you made a mistake. Yep, it’s that easy.
Now you have access to all the fun stuff you do with email without having to actually open up that email message itself. This is a pretty nice edition.
