As we continue to mourn the tragic loss of one of the world’s most prolific geniuses today, fans of Steve Jobs continue to turn to social networking sites to pay their respects, and some are even leaving notes on their local Apple store. Others are flocking to pre-order Steve’s biography, written by Walter Isaacson, which has seen orders soar a staggering 41,800% since Apple announced the news yesterday.

Entitled simply Steve Jobs, the $18 book is set to launch on November 21, and before today it sat at number 419 on Amazon’s sales chart. Now it sits at the top spot.
Another book written about Steve, I, Steve: Steve Jobs in His Own Words, follows closely behind Isaacson’s title. By George Beahm, the book is priced at $6 and is set to launch on November 8. Before today it sat at the position of 112,808 in Amazon’s chart, but orders for this release have also risen 34,825% to take it up to second place.
