If you upgraded to an iPhone 6s, chances are the case on your old 6 fits just fine. But if the old case is waterproof, don’t go dropping that 6s in a puddle.

The iPhone 6s is taller, wider and thicker by 1/100th of an inch in either direction, hardly noticeable in hand but enough to compromise the protection on a waterproof case.

Catalyst, an accessories company favored by Apple users unafraid of a little water on their devices, has rolled out a new waterproof case for the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus.

The cases are available for pre-order now on the Catalyst website and retails for $74.99. This may seem pricey for a case but consider the case hermetically seals the iPhone and protects it if submerged in water up to 16 feet deep.

Catalyst had to do a quick redesign on its waterproof cases after the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus debuted a smidge bigger, differences reportedly related to a new aluminum casing that makes the handset more rugged. Most third-party case makers and even Apple report that 6 cases will fit on the 6s.

Catalyst has had a clear eye on the more outdoorsy Apple type all year with waterproof cases for both the iPad and Apple Watch debuting over the last few months.

The case has an integrated touchscreen film to provide access to all 6s features and a hard-coated, non-recessed lens turns the iPhone into an underwater camera.

It is available for the 6s and 6s Plus in black/space gray, orange/gray, white/light gray, green/white and white/red.
