okay the pressure this is uh Leander
0:02
with Cult of Mac here at Ma and I'm
0:04
talking with Jason from Epson and he's
0:05
going to show us uh epson's iPad powered
0:08
projector hey Jason how you doing how
0:10
you doing so uh Jason sorry what was the
0:12
uh the name of the product again so it's
0:13
called the Epson Megaplex uh mg
0:16
850 uh and it's again it's a a portable
0:20
projector with a iPod iPad Dock it
0:23
charges the iPod or iPad it also has
0:26
2800 Lumen so it's very very bright
0:28
we're in a very bright room with a huge
0:30
set of Windows off to the side and I'll
0:32
show you real quickly how bright it can
0:34
be what's really cool about this product
0:35
is it's an all-in-one product again it
0:37
has your dock for your iPod or your iPad
0:39
and it has 20 wat speakers uh as well as
0:43
obviously a very bright 2800 limit
0:44
projector so um what it allows you to do
0:47
is very quickly and easily set up in a
0:49
backyard or in a uh in a at a wedding or
0:52
in your basement or wherever you
0:54
basically want to project an image that
0:56
is in this case 100 in that's four times
0:58
the size of a 50in flat pel right and
1:01
it's actually a really good image uh you
1:02
know you can't really see it here the
1:03
camera doesn't do it much justice but
1:04
the picture is really really good it's
1:06
really sharp um and of course you know
1:08
it's it's HD too right right this is a
1:10
720p projector um and so what we're
1:13
projecting right now is just streaming
1:15
off of YouTube a 720p feed of a you
1:18
can't really see it uh on the iPad on
1:20
the iPhone here but it's a a dude that
1:22
is uh skiing a very tall mountain looks
1:25
terrifying it is pretty frightening it's
1:27
not me it is it is really Bri it's a
1:30
really really good picture um absolutely
1:33
and again the sound can get quite loud
1:34
as well I I use this in my backyard with
1:36
my four-year-old Twins and we we watch
1:38
you know we Disney movie night with a
1:40
bunch of screaming kids and even in a
1:42
backyard like that if you crank the the
1:44
sound up on this thing it'll get quite
1:45
loud cool huh you also don't live in San
1:48
Francisco I don't I actually live in
1:50
Austin but all right perfect okay well
1:52
thanks very much uh for the showing us
