iPad Pro Unboxing And First Impressions

Pro. I just ordered it online on the Apple website and picked it up this morning at the

Apple Store, and there was a line already before the store even opened of all these other iPad Pro buyers. It was kind of pretty busy. Anyway, let's open it up and see what's

inside the box. Wrapping. Let's open it up. This has all been engineered very carefully to not open

How do you get the thing open? Oh my goodness, I can't even open it up. Okay. Ooh, wow. Crikey

Look at that. Wow, it's absolutely ginormous. That's a comparison. This is the old iPad

Air 2, and I used to think this was pretty big compared to the iPad Mini. So it feels

pretty light. It's a bit heavier than the iPad Air, but it's not really heavy, and I

reckon you can hold it with one hand. We'll see about reading in bed. Here comes the plastic

Wow, look at that. That's a pretty big screen. So this screen is the size of a MacBook, and

it's higher resolution than a Retina MacBook. How do you turn it on? There it is. Okay

while it's turning on, what else do we have in the box? There's the charging cable, the

charger, and a box of instructions. So typical Apple, pretty minimalist. Alright, we'll come

back in a minute and we'll do a hands-on. So I've got it set up, and the first impression

is that it looks ridiculously big. It looks like a fake iPad. All the icons are much bigger

and your first impression is like, wow, that's really big. Anyway, let's have a quick look

around. Where should we start? Let's have a look at Maps. Okay, so here's San Francisco

and you know, wow, this big screen really is pretty gorgeous. Let's go check out downtown

There's Coictin, and here's the San Francisco skyline. Huh, I love Maps. It's one of my

favorites. Wow, it looks amazing. That's the thing about this, this screen is just amazing

So, like it's a really, really, really, really nice, really lovely. Alright, so let's check

out music. This has got, it's got four speakers, one on each corner, and music is supposed

to be really good on this. The sound's supposed to be good. Where are we? Let's try this

David Bowie. Huh, that's good. It's really pretty good. That's really good. That's not

bad at all. Alright, let's check out a video. Videos. This is Close Encounters

I could sit and watch this all day. It sounds great. The picture looks fantastic

Wow. Super nice. There's Picture in Picture. Okay, so while we're watching the movie, let's

do some split screen. So, here. News. Wow, that looks really nice. Okay, let's see if

we pull in. There's my calendar. Alright, that looks pretty cool. So, the big screen

is only going to make a big difference when you're going to be doing some work on it

Let's check out email. And here's the calendar. Okay, let's stop this. Yeah, it looks great

keyboard and the stylus aren't available yet. They're going to be coming, I think, in early

December. Couldn't find one at the store. And it's going to be interesting to see what

it's going to be like to work on it. Whether this thing really is a laptop replacement. So far, everything's really snappy. It seems to be quick and responsive. Okay. Let's see

where the kids are. Ah, it's Veterans Day. They're right here. Alright, so look. I think

it looks really, really nice. It's kind of, it's a little bit heavy. I found when I was

holding it with one hand, it was, I could feel the weight of it. But, you know, this

is supposed to be a work machine and, you know, probably sitting in a keyboard most
