Hands On With AnkiDrive At CES

Alex here with Cult of mac and I'm here

with Mark from eny Drive hi Mark to so

uh eny Drive what toy cars what does

this what does this have to do with you

guys were at the Apple keynote um what

what do you have to do with apple uh you

iPhone control yes so eny drive is a

racing game um you have physical cars

that uh use Robotics and artificial

intelligence to come to life and uh they

will race against you uh on your living

room floor and yes you uh use your

iPhone you can download the eny Drive

app and what you do with that is the you

can use the iPhone as a controller and

you can also set other cars to be

controlled by the AI uh and you can play

it's like playing a video game but uh in

the real world okay so and the cars go

around the track but they don't hit each

other somehow how how do you do that

yeah so each car has a special sensor

that it uses to determine its position

on the map and then it sends all that

information back to the application and

there's a game that runs on the app that

then uh controls the cars and uh tells

them where to go okay so it's basically

like a physical extension of what you're

looking at in the app so you're racing

and on the app you see it but then you

also see it on the track okay so obvious

appeal for kids here um what what is

what's your lineup what kind of what are

you what cars are you off offering what

yeah so we launched um with apple in

their retail store so we're in every

Apple retail store in the US and Canada

uh we launched on October 23rd last year

um here at CES we just announced our

first major update because so much of

what we're doing is driven by software

um we're able to update the game and

keep it uh fresh keep it exciting okay

cool well very cool uh how much uh

there's a starter kit that includes two

cars and the rollable mat uh for $1.99

and then our expansion car
