0:01
so I'm here with tick Yip of uh solo ink
0:03
and solo ink does refillable uh ink
0:06
cartridges yeah uh we are the makers of
0:09
the last ink cartridge you'll ever buy
0:11
and why it's the last ink cartridge
0:12
you'll ever buy it's because they're
0:13
refillable instead of buying more
0:15
cartridges whenever they're empty you
0:17
have refill bottles and you plug it
0:19
right into the refill refillable
0:21
cartridge and fill it up put it back
0:24
into your printer and off you go okay so
0:26
we have some here y yeah you can take a
0:28
look at these cartridges here as you can
0:29
see see there's a little rubber plug and
0:33
once you pull this plug out well the
0:35
nose tip goes directly into the
0:37
cartridge and you can refill a cartridge
0:39
uh many many times over okay and uh you
0:42
know what what are the kind of savings
0:43
you can make with with the system uh the
0:45
savings that you get from our cartridges
0:47
uh is close to 80% 80% right I know my
0:50
son uses about a set of cartridges a
0:52
week uh on our in Chet and uh it's
0:55
costing me like a fortune 80 bucks a
0:56
week so uh yeah I've always loved these
0:59
systems but I hate the ones where you
1:00
have to use the needle and inject uh
1:02
into the uh into the cartridge this this
1:04
obviously doesn't do that yeah the
1:06
problem with the the the needle and the
1:07
syringe model is you know you're Force
1:09
feeding ink back into a cartridge that
1:11
wasn't meant to be refilled right these
1:13
ones are meant to be refilled so it can
1:15
with stain you know the the the
1:18
refillable aspect of uh what What's
1:20
required from a refillable cartridge so
1:23
you can refill it many many times over
1:25
and you know the quality is going to
1:26
stay the same you're not going to see a
1:28
decrease in in quality and you know it's
1:31
simple to do and what about the prined
1:32
companies I mean they they they they're
1:34
never happy with this kind of uh this
1:35
business model right no they're not
1:37
they're not happy with us uh but you
1:39
know the consumers are happy and that's
1:41
who we really cater to uh obviously we
1:44
won't survive without these printer
1:46
companies but you know all we try to do
1:49
is try to make our customers happy okay
1:51
and are there any issues like does it
1:52
have uh does it register the ink um
1:55
levels uh in the software uh it does
1:58
register the the the level of ink uh we
2:01
actually created our own little
2:02
microchip that goes onto the cartridges
2:04
and what it does is every time you take
2:06
it out and you refill the cartridge when
2:08
you put it back in it's going to tell
2:09
the printer that it's a brand new
2:10
cartridge and that it's a full cool that
2:12
sounds awesome and uh uh what's what's
2:15
the price of the system what are the
2:16
price ranges uh it varies depending on
2:18
the type of printer you have but it
2:19
starts at around $100 and goes up to
2:21
around $200 uh depending on the number
2:24
of cartridges that you have inside your
2:26
printer okay so for this uh this this
2:28
this uh kind uh printer here this would
2:30
be uh how many how much would that cost
2:32
this would be $200 this is a beast of a
2:34
printer this has eight cartridges um and
2:37
this is a pure photo printer and uh you
2:40
know it'll do very fine prints for you
2:43
um and because it's eight cartridges and
2:44
eight bottles of ink that's why it's 200
2:46
and how much are the ink uh the bottles
2:48
of ink cost each bottle is $15 and you
2:51
can refill a cartridge 10 times okay
2:54
cool all right great well good luck with
2:55
your system thanks very much for your
2:56
time thank you so much yeah have a good
2:58
day thanks
