I'm going to be unboxing the brand new Galaxy S7 the main rival to the iPhone 6s, so let's get started

So the S7 has literally just got dropped off at my house as you can see we've got the 32 gigabytes gold edition

And if we turn over to the back You see it's got 4g LTE 64-bit octa-core processor

This is the European one so has got the Exynos Samsung processor the ones in North America have got the snapdragon 820 processor and

Very slightly different on the geek benchmarks as I can see online, but with day-to-day use it's not any much different

It's got a quad HD 5.1 inch AMOLED display with 577 pixels per inch so as you see European model

So we can lift the phone out here Let's just pop that to the side for a second and see what else we get in the box

Got a on-the-go USB connector so you can transfer content That's pretty handy some other guides in here quick start guide and a warranty card

We've got the little sim tool here as well Also in the box we have got oh the whole tray comes out

Got a micro USB cable here to charge it along with a European adapter

Or I should say British adapter force. I've got our quick USB transfer tool

I've got the 32 gigabyte gold version wasn't too sure about the gold, but it looks pretty nice. Oh

Wow, that really is shiny So this is 7.9 millimeters thick is slightly thicker than the iPhone 6s

But of course, you've got a 3000 milliamp hour battery. Whereas the iPhone 6s you've got a

1715 milliamp battery so it is almost double the battery size of the iPhone 6s

So this should last you in theory double the amount of time But we'll take a full look at that for our review, which will be online tomorrow

So on the front of the device, we have a 5 megapixel camera and on the rear

We've got a 12 megapixel camera. Obviously the s6 had 16 megapixels

But the pixels from the s7 are double the size So overall it is a better camera, even though it sounds like less so on the left hand side

We've got the volume buttons on the right. I'm gonna guess that's the lock key on the front of the device

It's got the the fingerprint scanner there. So let's go ahead and boot this baby up

So as I mentioned before it's got a quad HD 5.1 inch AMOLED display

Also as I mentioned earlier, I've got the 32 gigabyte version here But it has got a micro SD slot in the SIM card tray, which you can then upgrade up to 200 gig

So essentially you've got a 232 gig phone, which is actually bigger than my MacBook Pro's hard drive, which is pretty crazy

I can see already that this is quite fingerprint prone I think the iPhone isn't quite this bad, but obviously this is a really shiny metallic finish
