this is Ellie for a cult of mac and I'm
0:03
here with Jackie of Griffin and we're
0:04
going to take a look at the Crayola
0:07
Color Studio cool so let's see what you
0:10
got okay
0:11
one of the preset uh pictures that comes
0:14
on the app as you can see there's a lot
0:16
of Animation kind of entertaining the
0:18
kids as it goes along here uh you can
0:22
pause it if you'd like to to stay still
0:24
for you or um we'll let it go ahead and
0:28
continue its animation I'm gonna pull up
0:31
our color options right now we're on
0:33
colored pencils but you can go through
0:34
the crayons and we've got of course the
0:37
the classic 64 different Crayola options
0:40
here for the crayon colors I'll go ahead
0:43
and just choose a color here the minute
0:45
I start coloring on the shark he's going
0:48
to stop stop for me so I can color him
0:50
you'll notice as I go over the lines it
0:53
actually keeps me in the lines
0:55
that is a setting that can be toggled on
0:57
and off
0:59
um so let him go and he'll continue
1:01
swimming across I don't know uh if you
1:05
see here you can go in and now I'll
1:07
choose markers but if I do it with my
1:10
finger it doesn't work uh and that's
1:12
kind of the magic of this is that it
1:14
needs the eye marker to communicate with
1:17
the app to be able to color so this
1:20
makes it really intuitive for children
1:22
as they sit down and kind of rest their
1:24
wrist on it right it's not going to
1:25
color on there with the wrist touching
1:27
it it only goes where the stylus is
1:30
now what's the technology behind it
1:41
yeah
1:42
um so that's how it recognizes it
1:44
there's a battery you know it's battery
1:46
powered in here the power button at the
1:48
top uh basically communicates directly
1:51
with the app itself
1:53
cool and uh when is it available
1:55
it's going to be available in Spring
1:56
this spring for thirty dollars 30 bucks
1:59
awesome
