Hey what's up guys, Stephen from Cult of Mac here back with another quick tips video
0:06
and in this one I'm going to show you how to add airdrop to the dock on your Mac making
0:10
it super quick to get to. Let's throw 60 seconds on the clock and get started
0:17
First make sure you clicked on finder and then head to the toolbar at the top, click on go and then go to folder
0:22
Once the go to window opens, enter this directory path you see here
0:26
To save you pausing the video and trying to type it all out, I'll make sure to leave it in the description down below so you can just copy and paste
0:33
When that's entered, hit go and you'll then be taken directly to the finder's apps folder
0:37
which is where you'll find airdrop as an app. Here you can add it to your dock the same way you would any other app, simply by dragging
0:42
and dropping it to your dock. Now that it's on there, any time you want to send or receive files from another Mac
0:48
or iOS device, you can click on the icon to bring up the airdrop finder window straight away
0:53
Yes it's only a little shortcut, but it's one that comes in more handy than you might expect
0:59
So that's it, hopefully you'll find this tip useful. If you do, go ahead and hit that like button down below, it really helps me out
