First look at Sonos Controller for iPad

this is the new Sonos controller app for

the iPad which allows you to uh control

uh sons's connected music players um and

uh sonus is known for its easy setup uh

and um ability to really easily make a

multi-room sound system here's uh one of

the players in the living room and

there's another one through here in the

kitchen

uh as you can see they're both playing

the same

music and you can set up as many as you

want and put them all around the

house uh and they can all be controlled

from here from the iPad

app uh which is very easy to use and

really nicely thought out um so on the

left here you have the uh different

players in your uh system there's one in

the kitchen one in the living room

here's the music that's currently

playing and a playlist at the bottom and

then here are your different um music

sources at the moment it's playing from

um an iTunes library on my laptop uh and

if I hit the button here um it brings up

the artist albums composers genres so on

and so forth um and it's really nicely

integrated into iTunes it Imports your

playlists so here are the playlists I

have uh in iTunes purchase music for

example and it brings them all up um and

if you want to um add uh if you want to

create a new playlist or a new song list

you can just drag and drop songs to the

queue here

um and

uh click on it if you want it to

play

immediately now the volume control is

over

here you can increase the volume you can

do it with the individual players or

both

together and if you want to scrub

through the track you hit the uh button

here and you can

[Music]

scrub

through um and it's also very nicely

integrated

with

um online music services so here we have

um some radio selections here's a nice

touch it knows my um zip code so it uh

gives me a list of local radio

stations playing it is as simple as uh

clicking on the uh Play Now button

and has a good selection of um internet

radio

stations

um organized by different sort of

genres and uh you can easily add

um uh favorite radio

stations and I added a couple from

London

come in

London the BBC one

works here you

go so uh internet ra is one of my

favorite uh new hobbies and and the

sonus that makes it really easy uh and

it's also uh well integrated with um

other online services Last FM Napster

Pandora and raps serious if you have a

serious satellite radio transcri uh

subscription it's uh you can control it

from here so I think this is a very very

slick app I mean this is awesome
