the show is shaping up great I mean as
0:02
you can see we have this whole new Decor
0:03
we have all these new elements
0:05
registration is up considerably we're
0:06
expecting a whole lot of new people
0:08
coming to the show for the first time
0:09
we' built all these you know in addition
0:11
to the product Discovery you know you
0:12
can go to the exhibit floor and go
0:13
shopping and look for new apps and that
0:14
type of stuff and all the conferences
0:16
that we have we have all these cultural
0:17
things we have musical performances we
0:19
have art galleries we have a film
0:20
festival so there's all these kind of
0:22
new things that are appealing to people
0:24
uh who have never come to ma before and
0:25
that's really we the way we built the
0:26
show this year all right so how many
0:28
people do you expect to come this year
0:29
well you know numbers in advance been
0:31
last year we had about 22,000 we think
0:32
we're going to be up slightly over that
0:33
okay cool and of course it's running uh
0:35
different days this year uh Thursday
0:36
through Saturday Saturday should be good
0:37
for the public right absolutely Thursday
0:39
through Saturday 10 to 5 10 to 5 10 to 4
0:42
okay cool and any particular highlights
0:43
that people should be looking out for
0:44
there's lots of them I mean Jonathan
0:46
Frakes from Star Trek is going to be um
0:48
appearing Beck and field is a is a web
0:50
series that he's involved with that'll
0:51
be up in our Tech talks um Susan orene
0:53
is the best selling author uh we have
0:55
performances by the jam band Mo and the
0:57
rock band Atomic Tom and what's really
0:59
cool about that is I mean these are
1:00
traditional bands but MO is actually
1:02
going to sit down their instruments and
1:04
perform a whole song only using an iPad
1:06
oh cool you know so you're going to tap
1:07
out drum rhythms and you the guitar
1:09
player is going to strum out all on an
1:11
iPad so I think it's just cool stuff
1:12
like that it's just all the interesting
1:13
things that people are doing with apple
1:15
gear okay cool well I'm looking forward
1:17
to it I always love the show and uh you
1:18
know best of luck with it thanks a lot
1:20
