iOS game of the week this week we're
0:10
looking at Terraria from 505 games right
0:13
now on the iPad for the first time it's
0:16
super
0:17
exciting so go ahead and check it out
0:19
right now in the
0:26
video Terraria is $4.99 in the App Store
0:29
and it's worth every penny basically
0:31
it's uh starts out as a 2d sort of
0:34
Minecraft inspired game if you follow
0:37
the tutorial which I suggest you do
0:39
you'll build a house create it so that
0:42
an NPC can move in and explore a little
0:45
bit of the world and how to mine for
0:48
different ores uh create different items
0:51
with your crafting table and just
0:53
generally have a good
0:56
[Music]
0:58
time
1:01
as the game progresses and you invite
1:03
more and more NPCs into your Terraria
1:05
world you'll be able to craft um ever
1:08
more complicated and devastating
1:11
weaponry and armor and all sorts of
1:13
things the general idea here is to build
1:15
up enough stuff that you can go out and
1:17
fight the world's dangerous uh
1:23
monsters while the controls are a little
1:25
funky take a little getting used to
1:27
overall Terraria is a fantastically fun
1:29
game on the the iPad and that's why it's
1:31
our Cult of Mac iOS game of the week
1:35
we'll talk to you
1:37
