hey guys a Elijah Gadget Hunter here at
0:10
macworld 2013 with cult.com I can't
0:13
believe I've been here for as many days
0:14
as I have and I'm just now seeing the
0:16
cameram Mater uh it's a really handy
0:18
device if you're a photographer I think
0:20
you're really going to like it attaches
0:21
to the top of your camera and creates a
0:24
magical connection to your iPad and
0:27
MacBook I'm here with Usman and now are
0:29
you the us or are you the Usman you are
0:31
the Usman are you the founder and
0:33
creator of the cameram Mater I I am we
0:36
uh launched this project on Kickstarter
0:39
uh 3 months ago we raised uh enough
0:41
money to do our prototype and then now
0:44
we are manufacturing and distributing it
0:46
so you asked for 80k you got more than
0:48
you needed which is always great I love
0:50
these Kickstarter Stories the people
0:52
telling uh the or creating the products
0:54
that they want funding them so tell us a
0:56
little bit about what this does okay so
0:58
this device basically lets you connect
1:00
an iPad an iPhone or a laptop to your
1:03
digital camera take control of the
1:05
camera change settings on it um trigger
1:09
the camera take photos and also in real
1:11
time transfer the photos to your device
1:14
so that's actually something that I
1:15
haven't seen before so if you're a
1:17
photographer you may know you can tether
1:19
to maybe your MacBook via Lightroom uh
1:22
with a cable but you were doing this
1:24
wirelessly and you sending images right
1:26
when you take them directly to the iPad
1:28
I have never seen that done before so it
1:30
caught my attention and so it lets you
1:33
send images wirelessly to the to the
1:35
iPad and you were saying earlier that
1:36
you could do both JPEG and RAW right we
1:38
can transfer both JPEG and RAW raw
1:40
images obviously are much larger than
1:42
jpegs so if you're just doing a review
1:45
for the images you can set it so that it
1:47
saves the raw images on the card in the
1:49
camera but transfers the jpeg to the
1:51
iPad wow any other features that you
1:53
should tell me about that we haven't
1:55
heard yet so we have advanced features
1:57
like time-lapse photography uh HDR
1:59
photography self-timer and then we are
2:02
building more apps which will let you do
2:04
photo boots and things like that and uh
2:06
the dslrs that this will work with are
2:09
uh Canon and Nikon cameras uh We've
2:11
tested it with 30 different models
2:13
pretty much anything built in the last
2:15
four five years from Canon and Nikon
2:17
dslrs though okay gotcha so if people
2:19
want this they're ready to throw their
2:21
money at Usman where do they go and how
2:23
much does this cost um it costs $299
2:27
retail and they can go to either uh
2:29
hypers shop.com or cameram meter.com and
2:33
order one online there you go the
2:35
cameram Mater a neat uh little gadget
2:38
for connecting your camera to your iPad
2:40
and MacBook Pro I was really excited
2:42
when I saw this I think you guys are
2:43
going to sell a ton of these this is
