Hey guys, Stephen Coles of Mac here

Now being able to pick up an iMessage conversation that started off on an iPhone right on a Mac
0:10
is a brilliant feature. But problems can occur. Such as iMessages not synchronising across devices
0:16
Sometimes messages sent from an iPhone might not show up on another Apple device such as
0:20
a Mac. Thankfully though, there's a fix. Here's what to do if you're having the same problem
0:24
From your iPhone, head to the settings app and tap through to messages. Once there, swipe down to the section called send and receive and open that with a tap
0:32
You should see all of the phone numbers and email addresses you've registered with your Apple ID
0:36
Tap on each one to check or uncheck them depending on whether you want to use them for messages
0:40
or not. If you wanted it from your Mac, launch messages with a click and then open up preferences
0:45
either in the messages menu or with command comma on your keyboard. Click on the accounts tab at the top and then do the same thing I mentioned previously by
0:52
putting a check by your phone number and any email addresses you checked on your iPhone
0:55
or iPad. Once you've done all that, you might need to restart messages
0:59
Hop into settings on your iPhone and then turn iMessage off with the top toggle switch
1:04
Turn it on again after a few seconds and see if that takes care of things. If all goes well, you'll be starting and continuing iMessage conversations across all your devices

Well that's it for this video, if you found it useful go ahead and give it a thumbs up
