0:00
so let's talk about the IMAX Lewis
0:03
another big announcement this week the
0:04
IMAX the all new IMAX
0:06
M4 yeah you won't believe this M4 iMac
0:09
delivers major speed boost I don't
0:11
believe you Lis believe Apple launched
0:14
it they call it the world's best
0:16
allinone for AI yeah that's artificial
0:20
intelligence in case you w paying
0:21
attention Apple intelligence actually
0:24
it's a whole Step Beyond artificial by
0:27
virtue of being the only all-in-one
0:28
computer they make that runs Apple
0:30
intelligence that's right uh so you know
0:33
they throw out all the typical numbers
0:36
uh 1.7 times faster than the M1 iMac
0:40
thanks to what Apple calls the world's
0:42
fastest CPU core this was the first one
0:44
that they announced this week wasn't it
0:46
the uh yeah they they came out the door
0:49
with the iMac let's see upgraded GPU
0:51
ensures the M4 iMac can run games games
0:54
everybody wants to play games up to 2.1
0:56
times faster than the 2021 iMac neural
0:59
engine is three three times faster as
1:01
Griffin noted than the M1 iMac making
1:04
machine learning and AI tasks noticeably
1:07
faster let's see besides speed boost the
1:09
M4 iMac chips with 16 gbt unified memory
1:12
standard that was nice as a prize you
1:14
can configure the machine with up to 32
1:17
gabyt of memory uh it also now comes
1:19
with a 12 megapixel Center Stage camera
1:22
with desk View support which actually
1:23
sounds like would be very helpful for
1:25
certain people in certain situations
1:26
yeah I I've never had it together to
1:28
come up with any sort of thing like that
1:29
where I could you know use my computer
1:33
and show people what I'm doing I mean
1:36
you can imagine situations where it be
1:37
helpful let's see uh uh for the first
1:39
time Apple also let you configure the
1:41
24-in IMAX display with a nano texture
1:43
glass to reduce Reflections and glare
1:46
particularly helpful if you take this
1:47
thing outside in the middle of a pasture
1:49
start doing some Computing in the
1:50
outdoors uh six colors Plus silver are
1:53
tweaked they're a little brighter
1:55
although I saw a side by-side images
1:57
dude they look exactly the same yeah is
2:00
this like one of those uh you know color
2:02
blindness
2:04
tests the the green is very different
2:07
the the red is basically pink not the
2:09
side by side that I saw yellow the
2:11
yellow on the old one was almost orange
2:13
but now it's like a real proper yellow
2:15
like sunflower yellow I think they're
2:17
completely different okay have to see
2:19
them in person because I don't trust any
2:20
of the uh any of the Apple advertising
2:22
colors
2:24
colors they never have colors let's see
2:26
uh like before all M4 IMAX will come
2:29
with color matched magic keyboard Magic
2:31
Mouse which I I don't guess I realized
2:33
that before I I just I've never uh I
2:36
didn't either actually yeah didn't but
2:38
that's that's cool uh the accessories
2:40
feature USBC USBC Port so bye-bye
2:44
lightning uh and um I don't know if I
2:48
mentioned this all seven of the models
2:50
you can get in all SE seven colors uh
2:53
are available for the base model which I
2:55
guess last time they for some reason
2:57
they restricted the the color options to
2:59
only High
3:00
versions so anyway I this all around
3:02
sounds like a nice a nice upgrade you
3:04
know to a very userfriendly computer if
3:09
I didn't uh already have a laptop and a
3:12
gigantic screen this sounds like a fine
3:14
fine thing you know for somebody who's
3:15
just sitting around uh typing on their
3:17
computer and watching videos and stuff
3:19
sounds like a great thing what color do
3:21
you
3:22
get oh you know I don't
3:24
know I I I have to I would have to think
3:28
about it for a while cuz I I
3:32
just I don't know man the pink one no
3:35
not pink not
3:37
orange probably blue probably blue I
3:41
don't think I would go with the you know
3:42
boring silver boring boring silver blue
3:45
blue or maybe purple I don't know the
3:47
purple's very good I've seen them in the
3:49
Apple Store they actually are as
3:50
colorful as they say it's like the
3:52
reason nothing else can have color is
3:54
because the iMac is using up all of the
3:56
color wait and is the is it red or pink
4:01
it used to be red because it used to be
4:02
like the six colors of the app logo but
4:03
now I think they just made it pink yeah
4:06
I I think I saw a picture of I Justine
4:08
with the pink one it's like oh well oh
4:10
yeah full Barbie setup you know it
4:12
looked great she even had a a beautiful
4:14
pink like did they tell her they were
4:16
going to have a pink one so she wore a
4:17
pink coat or whatever anyway uh let's
4:21
see what was the pricing on this I think
4:22
we left that out of this this uh show
4:24
notes let's see pricing the8 core M4
4:27
chip and two USBC or us usb4
4:31
ports this one costs $12.99 10 core CPU
4:34
and GPU variant with four usb4 ports is
4:37
available for
4:38
$4.99 like with all these machines
4:41
they're available for pre-order now
4:43
shipping on November 8
