Apple’s keynote last week has clearly gotten the creative juices flowing for Apple fans around the world. One of them is Jonathan Mann, a.k.a. the YouTube musician who once composed a song about “Antennagate” that even made Steve Jobs dance.
Now he’s back, paying homage with fellow musician James Dempsey. Check out their fun collaboration below.
Since Mann’s original Antennagate song, he has returned to the Apple theme several times — with an appropriately hazy tribute to macOS High Sierra, a Siri duet, and an ode to Craig Federighi (which still ranks as one of my favorites.) He even once got commissioned from Steve Wozniak’s family to write a song celebrating Woz’s birthday.
His latest Apple ditty touches on all the big moments from last week’s Apple event — by which, of course, we mean the likes of Craig Federighi making animal noises to show off the new “animojis” feature of iOS 11. It’s a fun song, but one that’s also got a poignant edge to it as it references the Steve Jobs connection from last week’s Apple event.
