HomePod mini’s new color options, which were introduced during Apple’s big MacBook Pro event on October 18, will go on sale in the U.S. next week, according to a new report. Fans in Europe will have to wait a little longer.

The new color options include orange, yellow and blue. Aside from the fresh lick of paint, however, the new smart speakers are identical to the original.

HomePod mini’s new colors could arrive next week

Despite not being the smartest speaker on the market, HomePod mini has proven popular since launch, thanks to its affordable price tag and impressive sound quality. Apple isn’t changing those things, but it is adding new colors.

“With new vibrant colors, HomePod mini fits in even more places and delivers amazing sound, the power of Siri, and simple and secure smart home controls,” said Bob Borchers, Apple VP of product marketing, earlier this month.

The new color options, seen above, include orange, yellow and blue — and they join the existing white and space gray options in the HomePod mini lineup. Internally, the speaker remains exactly the same.

Available next week?

HomePod mini is priced at $99, and according to a new report from AppleTrack, its new color options will be available to order in the U.S. early next week. They aren’t expected to land in Europe until “late November.”

Apple had promised that the new HomePod mini colors would arrive sometime next month, but it didn’t give an exact date.
