The physical titanium Apple Card may be the most attractive credit card ever made. But it’s not necessarily the most practical design, since storing it in a leather wallet risks discoloring it.

Fortunately, design company Kerf have created an equally attractive solution for storing it. And if we’d never thought about a physically attractive credit card before, we sure as heck hadn’t considered 2019’s need for a $139 wooden credit card case!

The case, which resembles a more eco-friendly version of those business card holders from American Psycho, pops out your credit card whenever you need to use it. It stores just one credit card at a time, and comes in your choice of wood options. (Well, so long as your choice is either some variation of walnut or maple.)

“We’ve focused on the details to design the best Apple Card Case,” its creators note. “Cut from a solid block of hardwood, and lined with premium, engineered Alcantara (ultra suede) this protective case is as beautiful as it is functional.” Heck, it’ll even “work with other credit cards” if need be.

The $139 card holder is assembled ad shipped from Pittsburgh, PA. Each unit is made to order and will wing its way to you within 1-3 weeks.

Looks great with a wooden iPhone case

While I’d dispute the need for a physical credit card holder like this, Kerf has also made slightly more practical wood creations. Its wooden iPhone cases are available in an assortment of different woods. They will also fit any iPhone from the iPhone SE through the as-yet-unannounced iPhone 11. Prices start at $69.

Anyone ordering on Labor Day can receive a 15% discount on their order via the website.
