12.4Apple is speeding through the beta process of iOS 12.4 with yet another beta build that’s ready for developers.

iOS 12.4 beta 3 comes just eight days after Apple seeded the second beta to developers and the public at the same time. The update prepares iPhones for the launch of Apple Card later this summer, along with packing a bunch of bug fixes and performance improvements.

Registered developers can download iOS 12.4 beta 3 via an over-the-air update if you have the previous beta installed. You can also add the installation profile to your iPhone or iPad to request the beta update.

Apple also released the third beta builds of watchOS 5.3 and tvOS 12.4 to developers today as well. The new betas come with under a week left until Apple releases the first beta for iOS 13 at WWDC 2019.

Release notes for iOS 12.4 beta 3 don’t mention any major changes. Support for Apple Card is the biggest new addition, but you can’t access the feature yet. Apple revealed its consumer-friendly credit card service during a keynote in March. Apple Card is expected to launch this summer so Apple couldn’t wait until iOS 13 to add it because iOS 13 won’t be ready for launch until the fall.

iOS 12.4 beta 3 also contains a ton of bug fixes and performance improvements. We’ll let you know what new goodies we discover in the update once we get it installed on our devices.
