Each year at its Worldwide Developers Conference, Apple lays out the major new software and platforms that will fuel its future products. The keynote that kicks off the week of dev workshops offers a concentrated glimpse at Cupertino’s most high-profile projects.
However, it also tends to be a little bit … predictable, at least when it comes to buzzwords and Apple stagecraft.
Apple will stream the WWDC 2018 keynote, which starts at 10 a.m. Pacific. As usual, we will be live-blogging the event.
If you want to play keynote bingo, just print out your card and fire up your phone or computer. (Here’s how to stream the WWDC 2018 keynote.) All you need are five correct catchphrases or predictable Apple moments in a row to line up and you could be this year’s WWDC keynote bingo winner.
Apple is expected to unveil iOS 12, macOS 10.14, tvOS 12 and watchOS 5 during the keynote. The event also may have some hardware announcements. A cheaper HomePod speaker under the Beats brand could make an appearance. New Macbooks may also make the bill but the keynote usually focuses on software so don’t get your hopes up on too many new goodies to buy once the event is over.
